Like any man made machine, computers are vulnerable to wear and tear and if unchecked can and will start to show signs of such wear and tear. Few people realize the damaging effects that dust, dirt and pet dander have on the internal workings of the computer. Laptops are especially vulnerable because of their compact design. And for those of you who like to think green consider this. It takes more energy for the cooling fans to maintain the same temperature of the internal computer than it did when it was new.

- Disassemble (as necessary) system components and clean
